Fees & Insurance

Fees & Insurance

I do not accept any insurances at this time and clients are responsible for all session fees. My current fee is $150 per 50 minute session. I sometimes have reduced fee availability - Ask me about this if you are unable to afford the established rate. All fees are to be paid at time of service. As all sessions are virtual, only debit card, credit card, and Health Savings Account (HSA) card payments are accepted at this time. Although I do not accept insurance or third party billing, statements for out of network insurance reimbursement and superbills can be provided upon request.

If you plan to seek out of network reimbursement, I recommend that you contact your insurance company before the first session and inquire about the following: What percentage of the therapy session cost will be paid for therapy obtained from an out-of-network provider? How many therapy sessions will be covered per calendar year?

Please contact me with any other questions you may have about therapy fees.

Good Faith Estimate

To insure clients are not hit with surprise bills that they were not expecting, the No Surprises Act states that psychotherapy providers (and all medical providers) need to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance with an estimate of the total expected cost of the services they receive over the course of their time in therapy with that provider. This is called a “Good Faith Estimate”.

I will email you a Good Faith Estimate in writing before our first session that will state the total cost of therapy based on having weekly sessions for one year of services. This is an only an estimate, as we will decide together how often and for how long you may participate in therapy. This is a required estimate, not a contract or plan for your services.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
